My friends and I were hanging out in SF and were craving a couple of slices and some beers. Gochees Pizza absolutely hit the spot! They had an awesome lunch special where you could get 2 slices and a drink for $15 ($5 up charge for a beer). That is a steal for SF! We didn't realize that they closed at 2:30 and we arrived at like 2:15. The employees were still extremely nice and really took care of us. We felt so bad that we were sitting down taking our time eating and chatting. Never once did they ask us to leave or make us feel unwelcome. We were just enjoying our pizza and beers so much! Our favorite was the Sweet & Spicy (No sauce, mozzarella, sausage, serrano pepper, and honey)! Whenever I am in the area, I am definitely dropping by for another slice.

Perfect spot if you want lunch in FIDI. They have lunch special that's really good price. The pizza has a good crust and tastes good. You'll get full right away with just the lunch special. The staff are all nice and friendly. The ambiance is really clean and neat. Will definitely be back.

Good pizza with good choices, generous portioned sizes and very reasonable prices. Conveniently located in the San Francisco financial district. You can order by the slice or by the whole pie. They also can make your pie half and half in different types. They are also pretty reasonably quick at making pizzas. It took them 20 minutes to make the biggest size pizza pie for us with two types split on it. They have thin crust with cornmeal and also offer deep dish as well. Flavors and ingredients are decent. I would come here again and again.

Good pizza. Great customer service. Open early and open late. What more could you ask for ? Plenty of indoor seating. Condiments on every table. Good music and a nice view of downtown while you people watch and eat your slice on a break or before or after work. Great pizza deal as well. Just perfect. They have many options for slices it was hard to choose. Cooked to perfection. I honestly might start eating here tooo much lol

Hey, there's nothing wrong with picking a slice without being a typical social media food critic. I grabbed 2 pieces of mushrooms, dug into the cornmeal batter on the bottom layer and watched the oven spin with glee. I'll spare all the haters, try it yourself. Smashing the keyboard thinking about negative reviews will only set you back for so long. Best place in SF for a slice, chilling people.

Ordered delivery today and was blown away! The four cheese pizza is mouthwatering! Got here super quick and was still hot. Was on the fence cause of the reviews but pull the trigger this pizza is good and worth the money. A medium pizza was a great size. One note... they forgot to add the condiments and utensils like I asked, but that doesn't change the review for me!

After discovering the half of a sandwich I had leftover from yesterday's lunch that I had left in the fridge was taken and eaten by some mysterious ninja thief in the office...AGAIN...I had no choice but to place a to-go order through my Ritual app for something nearby. I had never been to Gochees before, but figured it would be a good choice since I really did not want to pay $15 for a salad, and wanted something quick. Located on the ground floor of Embarcadero 2, Gochees was pretty close to my office and easily within walking distance. I arrived about 10mins after placing the order, and was a bit confused and dismayed to see there was no place on the side to pickup app orders. Instead, I had to wait in line to ask for my order from the cashier, which really defeats the point of ordering through the app. Fortunately however, during my wait, someone was coming out from behind the back and I quickly flagged him down and asked where I could pickup my order. He very graciously grabbed it for me and I was thankfully in and out pretty quickly. Ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, and it was really, really good! It was baked to just the right level of crispiness, without burning the dough underneath. And a single slice was definitely very well sized that it was just enough food for 1 quick lunch meal. Great food, great service, and one that I will definitely be back for! Only recommendation is that they set aside some counter space for app orders so people don't have to be stuck waiting in the same line as people who are ordering.

Woooooow. I stopped in for a lil snack of a slice and I gotta say, pretty damn good! Crispy flavorful crust and good topping to cheese ratio. $5 for a slice? Not bad. Plus they have specials if you're coming for lunch and get a combo! Heavens though, the ambiance. This is probably someone's vibe they love so, ya know like with all things maybe take this with a grain of salt. The music was loud and just awful. I stayed just long enough to eat my slice. Made me want to run out screaming, holding my ears so I wouldn't be subjected one moment longer. Lesson learned, I'll bring headphones next time. Was a lil irked that they did not have anywhere to compost, just trash and recycling. Are we even IN San Francisco?! WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE. But yeah, check it out for a solid slice.
